ITINERARY

The 2011 Variety Adventure TV documentary will be filmed over 6 days (Monday 24 October – Saturday 29 October 2011).

The full itinerary remains 'secret' at this stage, but we can reveal the following:

The 2011 Adventure will take place in the north of South Australia. We will begin filming in the opal capital of the world, Coober Pedy, and make our way across the semi-desert region of the State's North. We will end our 6-day Adventure in the purpose built mining town of Roxby Downs, established to serve the Olympic Dam ore mine.

Over the coming months more details will be released of the route, the itinerary and some of the activities (we like to have some surprises along the way!) and the various means by which we will travel between these unique northern towns. Every year we strive to ensure the Adventure is even better than the last, so our creative logistics team has hit the ground running to ensure we deliver on our commitment of fun, adventure and unforgettable experiences!

Past adventures have included trekking, caving, mountain biking, quad biking, camel riding, boating, kayaking, sand boarding, fishing ... And much more!

PLEASE NOTE: We ensure that everyone is able to participate in (and complete) all activities! Past documentaries have had a great mix of ages, fitness levels and male/female participants. ANYONE CAN DO IT!
