In 2011, Channel 9 presenter Troy Gray will undertake yet another fabulous television adventure to raise money for his chosen charity. The 2011 Variety Adventure TV project will be Troy's sixth award-winning TV documentary.
The end result will be another one-hour television presentation raising funds for Variety the Children's Charity (Freedom Program). This annual project has already raised in excess of $700,000.00. In 2011 the aim is simple... to raise even more funds, make new friends and participate in a life-changing adventure!

Since 2005 television presenter Troy Gray has hosted and produced award-winning TV documentaries with proceeds going to local charities. In 2011 Troy has once again teamed up with Ron Barton (Yellow Corporation) to pledge financial support to Variety the Children's Charity (Freedom Program). A film crew will capture the six-day expedition and an hour-long special presentation will screen on television.
Troy's past five documentaries (to Mt Everest Base Camp, the Kokoda Track, The Heysen Trail, Kangaroo Island and "Port to Port"), have won medals at the annual Cinematography Awards, and have also screened internationally.
* Variety Adventure TV is a program of Variety, the Children's Charity containing a range of annual activities, which raise funds to help children in need gain mobility and independence. Variety Adventure TV has helped hundreds of children gain mobility, freedom, independence and the chance to join in the life of their community through the provision of wheelchairs, leg splints, standing frames, vehicle conversions and wheelchair hoists.
